In SEC v. Justin Sun (filed Mar 2023, alleging unregistered TRX offers and wash trading), the SEC filed a global resolution: a $10M penalty for Rainberry on a wash-trading claim, and dismissal with prejudice of all claims against Sun and Tron Foundation (subject to court approval). This is not a ruling on whether TRX is a security.
